fantastic stay at a wonderful place
friendly managers great concierge perfect stay
The staff were attentive. alan, the concierge, were really good. the managers were very friendly. They were asking to be sure our stay was perfect. the attention to detail really impressed me.
I found that some areas could benefit from a little updating. This would enhance the overall experience. some minor wear and tear was visible, but nothing too concerning.

The hotel provides golf facilities including a driving range, a school, and several courses. These cater to golf enthusiasts. the spa offers a peaceful setting for relaxation and features various treatments! the pool area is well maintained.

Breakfast offered a wide selection. I found many choices at the buffet, catering to varied tastes. the bar provided a pleasant experience, though it lacked atmosphere. the food was lovely and i enjoyed the soups a lot

a decent stay
nice decor clean decor breakfast selection filthy suite room change
The decor throughout the hotel was very nice and clean. the breakfast had a nice selection. i especially liked dearbla's service during breakfast. She was a special mention.
i booked a lodge suite, but it was filthy. after notifying management, i was moved to a less expensive room in the hotel. i received a bottle of prosecco, but there was no refund for the change of room type.

mixed feelings about a stay
dirty bathroom mould
the setting was nice enough. the hotel seemed maintained ok.
my room was not great. the bathroom had mold (i saw it in the sink) and rust in the shower. staff claimed the rooms got renovated last april (i doubt it given the state of the bathrooms).

really good stay with minor hiccup
super clean bathroom comfortable bed spa facilities
i booked a traditional double or twin room for a few nights. the room had a super clean, large bathroom. the bed was really comfortable. the spa facilities as usual offered enjoyed.
the lodge i stayed in felt quite cold. i tried to turn on the heating, but i had no success. the front desk did not offer a room change so i had to use a small electric heater.

i got a goat cheese salad late after a long drive, tasty. the food in the bar was fantastic. breakfast was delicious and served by a lovely staff member.

the hotel has beautiful surroundings. a walk around the grounds is possible, and they are kept very well. the location and the exterior look gorgeous. the scenery including the golf course around the hotel is lovely.
