really good stay with minor hiccup

i booked a traditional double or twin room for a few nights. the room had a super clean, large bathroom. the bed was really comfortable. the spa facilities as usual offered enjoyed.
the lodge i stayed in felt quite cold. i tried to turn on the heating, but i had no success. the front desk did not offer a room change so i had to use a small electric heater.

i got a goat cheese salad late after a long drive, tasty. the food in the bar was fantastic. breakfast was delicious and served by a lovely staff member.

the hotel has beautiful surroundings. a walk around the grounds is possible, and they are kept very well. the location and the exterior look gorgeous. the scenery including the golf course around the hotel is lovely.
