Review summary

Based on recent reviews

The Portrush Atlantic Hotel is frequently praised for its prime location, offering easy access to local amenities and the beach. Guests often enjoy the delicious breakfast with its great variety of options. Many rooms are spacious and provide excellent views, particularly those facing east over the North Atlantic, with some even offering glimpses of the Scottish peaks; however, some guests have occasionally noted that certain rooms can get quite warm, although a fan is often provided. The central location makes it easy to explore everything the town has to offer.

The hotel car park provided a very convenient parking spot. The beds were quite comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful all the time. Breakfast offered a great choice. I enjoyed the variety of fresh items.

The shower pressure was slightly inconsistent. It would be better with more consistent temperature.

Service

10/10

The reception staff were very nice at check-in. They explained breakfast times clearly. The bar staff was quick and attentive. Assistance with luggage storage was readily available.

Rooms

8/10

The room was very spacious and warm. It featured a view of the sea. The room included complimentary shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. I really liked that.

Dining

9/10

Breakfast included a buffet service and had gluten-free diets catered. I saw multiple coffee options at the Douwe Egberts machine. There was banana bread, and that was appreciated.
