adequate, but somewhat disappointing

essential amenitieshigh price
the room lacked some essential amenities. i found there werent any glasses provided, so having a simple drink in the room wasnt possible. the street view, instead of the river view i had expected, was also a letdown. i felt the price i paid was too high for such basic features.

the location was acceptable because it was a short walk into town.
The bedroom was very cold at night. I found no extra blanket in the wardrobe. there was a strong smell of paint. Maybe it was some cleaning agent. parking was very limited so i had to move my car early in the morning.

The location was great. It was very close to the train station and local shops. The view of the river from my room was wonderful
I thought that I'd booked bed and breakfast, though found it was room only. I did not enjoy paying for the meal up front daily on arrival for breakfast.
