The Lochindaal Hotel is widely appreciated for its charming and comfortable rooms, some even featuring cordless chargers, tea, cookies, and espresso makers. Guests frequently mention the delicious and varied breakfast options, with some receiving takeaway bacon butties for early departures. The hotel's location is also a plus, being near restaurants and the Islay Museum, as well as within walking distance of the Bruichladdich distillery via a scenic coastal path; however, a few guests have noted potential noise from the bar for rooms located above it.

Wonderful Stay and Really good Service

The family running the hotel is cute. They proactively assisted with dinner reservations before my arrival, which i greatly appreciated. Connor even raced to the ferry to return bags I had forgotten. This level of dedication to guests is amazing.
The bar located on the hotel created noise late into the night, disrupting sleep. It continued past midnight, made restful sleep difficult (earplugs were helpful though).

Decent Hotel With Some Drawbacks

bar noisedifficult sleep
The layout was not ideal. I stayed in a room above the bar. Loud noise continued until after midnight and this was bothersome. Sleep was difficult. I expected a quieter night.
