a good scottish stay

grand decorsea viewfriendly staffovergrown driveway
the grand decor stood out immediately. our room included a sea view and a sizable bathroom with a very good shower. the staff were friendly... it created a very cute atmosphere for all guests.
finding it initially proved a bit tricky. the overgrown driveway and the building's slightly unkempt exterior did create a slightly unnerving first impression. i think some updated signage could significantly improve the arrival experience.
Service
9/10
the staff demonstrated a willingness to help with all needs. they helped accommodate a slightly earlier check-in and provided useful information about local attractions, like walking routes and dining.
Location
8/10
the hotel is set back from the main road and creates a peaceful atmosphere. the distance to the nearest bus stop is about 6 minutes by foot. a shop can be found near the stop.
