the staff was very friendly. the breakfast was lovely. the location was perfect for exploring historic sites. the hearty breakfast set us up for the day.
the bed were not comfortable. the walls were thin. i heard the next door guest snoring the whole night. all accomodations in scotland are relatively expensive.

I found the room to be quite dated. Wallpaper peeled from the walls and the carpet showed significant staining (it needed updating).

huge room amazing shower attic room no hot water
the room was huge and super clean. the shower was amazing!!! i really enjoyed the experience. the staff were very great.
i was allocated a top floor attic room. it was quite a struggle going up and down the stairs. there was no hot water from the sink tap even after i let it run for a while.

a LOVELY stay

clean room included breakfast easy parking great service
The room was very clean and spacious. I especially liked that breakfast was included in the price. It made the mornings easier. The location was perfect for exploring historical sights, and parking was easy. Dinner and the bar service were also great.
The bed was not the most comfortable. The walls felt a little thin.

wonderful experience

helpful staff great pub fresh breakfast
i arrived and felt very welcomed. the staff were helpful and the atmosphere in the pub was great. the breakfast was also fresh and decent in portion size, i really enjoyed the full scottish breakfast they offer, it was great.
the stairs creaked a little, it wasn't a big issue for me though.

the hotel offered great parking behind the building. i noticed a park with a barbecue installation near to the place, such great for making my food near the location.

i had a room. it was a beautiful double room bath and the room was clean. it was spacious with a smaller twin at the back to fitting myself very comfortably.
