“I found the Linden Hotel's personalized approach particularly appealing; it's clear the management puts a lot of care into the guest experience, with thoughtful touches like departure gifts. Its location in the Jordaan neighborhood, near the Anne Frank House, puts you in a prime spot to explore Amsterdam's history. From what I gathered, this hotel distinguishes itself with both its character and attentiveness.”

Canal-Side Charm

easy accessthoughtful touchnoisy room
The location was superb. It allowed easy access to many restaurants. The provided goody bag at checkout was a thoughtful touch. It included snacks for my journey. Fresh coffee was also available anytime in the lounge. It came from a fancy espresso machine.
The windows did not shut properly. Very cold air came in. I needed to sleep with earplugs because the room was noisy.
Facilities
9/10
The lounge included boardgames, travel guides, coffee, tea, and treats. These items were always available for the guests. The hotel promoted using tap water or flavored tap water rather than bottled water. This aligns well with sustainability efforts.
Dining
10/10
Additional free coffee was available in the lounge. This came from a fancy espresso machine anytime, alongside an assortment of specialty teas. I found an excellent variety of restaurants and cafes very close to the hotel, so I had many dining options.
