“In Gora, this hotel strikes me as a blend of Japanese tradition and modern design, although some past experiences suggest inconsistencies with cleanliness. The location suits those seeking tranquility, far from the bustle of shops, but a bit removed. The open-air baths-if well-maintained-seem to be a highlight, making it potentially ideal for serene exploration of Hakone's cultural sites.”
