amazing castle stay!
quirky atmosphereopen firewell kept gardens
i enjoyed my time in this fine castle. the gardens were well-kept. the keeper bar had a quirky atmosphere, and i enjoyed a few spritzers there. i especially loved the lounge area with the open fire.
the wifi signal wasn't always the strongest in my room.

the golf course looked great, though i didn't play. the grounds were expansive, providing plenty of space for a relaxed walk. a rose garden and a pond added to the scenery.

I was pleased with the expansive grounds. Peaceful river walks provided a calm escape. I found the thermal suite at the spa very relaxing, a highlight .
The parking situation needs improvement. The signs were unclear. I was also disappointed to find a limited bistro menu. I thought the food quality could be better.
