super king bed easy access appreciated notification
the room included a super king size bed, and i didn't want to leave it. it was very conveniently situated for easy access to lynmouth to the east. i appreciated that i was notified beforehand by phone about the kitchen issues.

good and restful stay
spacious room excellent dinner local ingredients
the room was spacious with quality appointments i stayed in the main house and enjoyed it very much both the bedroom and bathroom had ample space the sunday roast beef dinner featured local ingredients and tasted excellent i received extra water for the table. the grounds are well kept i appreciated the peace and quiet.
underfloor heating tripped initially it took a while to warm the room but maintenance assisted quickly

low housekeeping standards unclean floors
The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated their service.
The housekeeping standards seemed quite low. I found the room was not well cleaned upon arrival, that was disappointing. The floors felt unclean, and there were some dirty marks in the bathroom, I noticed.

the staff were accommodating. i also had a large room with a huge well-appointed bathroom..
our stay began with a disappointment. i had originally checked into the garden suite, but there was no wifi available in the room.. breakfast was another let down, with very limited self-service options..

quiet location comfortable bed excellent food well kept ground
the location was quiet, which helped create a relaxing atmosphere. my room, a classic suite, included a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. the restaurant provided excellent food and service. the hotel and grounds were well kept, offering a peaceful stay.
i noticed the car parks have some potholes, but it didn't impact my overall experience.
