nice stay at a charming inn
comfortable beds renovated bathrooms ample parking spacious room
the room was spacious with comfortable beds (i slept very well). bathrooms was recently renovated, a nice touch. meals included both breakfast and dinner and they were all quite good. i found ample parking available on the hotel.
the car park is slightly distant from the entrance so maneuvering suitcases can be a bit cumbersome, though not a major issue.

The inn features extensive breakfast and dinner menus with diverse options. the quality of the food i tasted was excellent. It was always fresh and well-prepared. service was prompt and attentive.

the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. they were really nice too ensure my needs were met, offering helpful assistance with directions and local recommendations. i received a packed lunch due to an early departure before breakfast service.

Charming Stay!!!

The blend of old and new was done masterfully throughout the premises, especially in the room. I found the room dry, warm, and very well appointed. The included breakfast was AMAZING!!! The sausages were of great quality and perfectly cooked. The service I received was cheerful and efficient.
The reception area looked somewhat worn upon my arrival, not the most cute first impression.

The room included hot water for showers and baths, and there was a comfy bed to sleep on. The housekeeping staff was diligent. They kept everything clean and restocked, which I appreciated. The room's historical features were fine.

The breakfast rooms are separated, offering one area specifically accompanied by dogs and another dog-free zone. I found the food fine, typical of pub fare, and breakfast was plentiful. I was very pleased to have a Sunday roast in the evening. Other options were also available on the menu.

Ample parking is available, and there's a choice of exercise areas for dogs. These include a landscaped garden and a runaround field. The hotel is dog-friendly with plenty of green space around the car park for exercise. I noticed a lovely country footpath behind the car park.
