a mediocre experience
chipped tile mirror tile
the staff was helpful. they kindly retrieved a diary i left behind.
the bedside light had mirror tiles. one tile was chipped and cut my thumb when i tried to move it. i really think the hotel should check these things.

i appreciated the provided bath towels and shower gel. i found the large shower quite convenient. i also liked the dark rooms when the curtains were closed as i prefer not waking up to sunshine.

the staff was very helpful (especially with directions). the room had a decent size and everything you need was inside. i had a nice cooked breakfast.

an acceptable stay
friendly staff comfortable room delicious breakfast bland potatoes hard carrots tasteless gravy
the staff were friendly and efficient service was prompt. i had a comfortable room it included a sofa and offered plenty of space. breakfast was delicious i found plenty of variety.
the roast lunch was not a good experience the potatoes tasted bland. cauliflower and carrots were hard. the yorkshire pudding and gravy did not have any taste.
