A smaller afternoon menu is available at weekends from 3 PM to 5 PM. On Sundays during winter, there is a choice of roasts. It is advisable to book in advance for indoor tables.

The bar features memorabilia charting the history of Hartland Quay and details of shipwrecks in the area. Location and Access
Hartland Quay is 3 miles from the town center of Hartland and 95 km from Newquay. The surrounding area is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hartland village hosts multiple pottery and photography galleries, as well as places to eat and drink. Nearby landmarks include Speke's Mill Mouth Waterfall (1.5 km), Hartland Point Lighthouse (3 km), and St Nectan's Church (1.5 km).

The hotel offers a gift shop selling local gifts and souvenirs. The pier construction is similar to the one still visible in Clovelly. Ample car parking is available, with a parking charge of £3 applied between 11 AM and 3 PM from Easter until October Half Term for non-hotel guests. A museum explores the history of Hartland Quay, open seasonally from Easter until half term in October from 11 AM until 4 PM. Dogs are allowed on the beach from November 1st to March 31st.
