Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The George in South Molton is highly rated for its clean and well-presented rooms, some of which appear recently refurbished and offer plenty of space. Guests consistently enjoy the freshly cooked breakfast, with made-to-order options like eggs Benedict being a highlight. While the hotel doesn't offer evening meals, guests appreciate the option of using the dining room for takeaway meals from nearby places like the Bengal Tiger; however, a few guests have noted the bar can sometimes close earlier than expected. The lounge and bar area is a popular spot, especially for the cream teas.
