stuffy room broken netflix
The breakfast was quite good. The staff were friendly and helpful enough.
The room needed some serious attention. The windows would not open. The room felt stuffy as a result. Netflix was advertised, but it did not work, what a joke!

Fantastic stay with excellent hospitality
spacious room large bed cute hosts
Our room was quite spacious and furnished nicely. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included and offered many choices that were made fresh. The hosts were cute and provided great suggestions for local restaurants and the extensive gin bar was a real treat. I will definitely return.
The entrance to the car park was quite narrow. We had to enter it slowly to avoid scratching the car.

The breakfast had many options, from a full English to lighter choices. All prepared fresh. They offered a Sunday roast which was delicious and had vegetarian options. The dining area was well-decorated and comfortable.

worn mattress urine smell
the breakfast was good, everything was fresh.
I was disappointed by the room. There was a smell of urine and the mattress was so worn that my husband kept sliding off the bed. when i mentioned it, the manager didn't offer any compensation.

staff WELCOMED me warmly, and the breakfast was great with fresh fruit. The room included tea and coffee facilities. complimentary sherry. The Hotel provides parking, a major plus.

friendly staff good advice clean room tired hotel poor lighting faulty netflix
The staff was friendly. They gave good advice about the surrounding area. My room was a Superior King Room. It was very clean and the furnishings seemed high quality. Breakfast had good choices and was delicious.
The hotel looked a little tired. The windows didn't open. The room was stuffy with poor lighting. Netflix didn't work and the toiletries weren't as advertised.

Really good Stay in Charming Hotel
freshly cooked breakfast welcome sherry convenient location
The breakfast was a good experience, with a freshly cooked menu with varied choices. Our room included sherry and fresh milk upon arrival (a very nice touch). The hotel's location proved convenient for exploring the picturesque village, with the castle just a short walk away.
The narrow archway leading to the car park required careful maneuvering, especially with a larger vehicle.

a pleasant stay
lovely welcome superior room narrow entrance mattress discomfort
lisa, the owner, gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived. we had a superior room facing the front of the hotel it featured two windows, a dressing area, and an ensuite. the room included tea/coffee and chocolate facilities, biscuits, fresh milk and a welcome glass of sherry.
the car park entrance was narrow. the mattress in our room was not comfortable and i hardly slept.
