Good Stay in a Charming Location

friendly staff dog bowls convenient walks
The staff were friendly and were great. I had forgotten my dog's food and water bowls. The cleaner provided dog bowls with treats for my pup, it was very kind. I appreciate the hotel's location (it is very convenient for walks).
The hotel gave me a room overlooking the beer garden. It was quite noisy from the activity there and the family above us.
Rooms
9/10
The room was very clean and always warm, a comforting place to return to after exploring. It was also spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable, especially the bedwith bedside sockets perfect for my health needs. The shower and WC were clean, in good working order, and the water was soft.
Service
10/10
All staff were friendly and happy to help with any request. Staff were available 24-7 and professional. The team accommodated a bus delay, ready to provide a room if needed (this was very thoughtful).
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers early breakfast and parking, really convenient. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice to suit every taste. The on-site chef made delicious food, and the cauliflower and broccoli cheese dinner stood out.
Location
10/10
The hotel boasts a great location, perfect for walking onto Exmoor. It is also conveniently linked to Exmoor beyond Porlock and Lynmouth via bus. This location provides easy access to inland villages for day trips.
