charming stay near the sea

bright atmosphere working shower coffee facilities

the seafront room featured a lovely, bright atmosphere. the shower worked perfectly. tea and coffee facilities were accessible in the room. i certainly appreciated having these amenities available.

i found the draft beer selection quite limited. i noticed carlsberg lager and tetley smooth bitter were the only options. it could have been better.

the hotel has a two-person lift, which i found to be quick and silent. it provides convenient access to the upper floors. i did note it can get busy at peak times.

mealtimes were managed very professionally in the dining room. a selection of starters, mains, and puddings were available. vegetarian and vegan options were offered, catering to various dietary needs.

the hotel enjoys a wonderful location right on the road above the beach. north beach car park is just a five-minute walk. it made exploring the area very easy.

Acceptable, but Some Issues Need Addressing

stuck valve inconsistent temperature

The heated towel rail stayed on constantly. I told reception multiple times, but no one fixed it. They said the valve was stuck and maintenance couldn't move it. The shower temperature was inconsistent too. It alternated between too hot and too cold. This made showering really unpleasant.
