Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Normandie is frequently praised for its excellent central location, making it easy to walk to cafes, shops, and the harbour. Guests consistently find the rooms spacious, clean, and well-equipped with tea-making facilities. While the hotel is situated above a pub, many guests find it well-insulated from noise, though some light sleepers might notice occasional deliveries; the location's convenience generally outweighs this for most visitors. Guests also appreciate the value for money and the quality of the food.

average stay with some noise issues

central locationfriendly staffstreet facing roomdamp bathroom
the location was definitely central to everything. the staff were friendly.
the room faced the street, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. i guess there is not much they can do about outside factors. also, i noticed a bit of damp in the bathroom as the extractor fan looked to be off.
