firm pillows inaccessible plug socket
The location was acceptable I guess as it was near shops and things.
I had the misfortune of encountering several issues . I needed firm pillows but they were not in the suite so I requested them. The kettle storage area lacked an accessible plug socket , made it a real joy to boil water.

Wonderful Stay on George Street
friendly staff convenient location
My recent visit proved to be a great experience. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and efficient. They quickly assisted with my check-in and provided helpful information about the hotel amenities. I also found the location very convenient for exploring the city center. It was easy to walk to many attractions.
The room was a bit smaller than I expected, there was limited space for luggage. I also noticed that the noise from the street was noticeable, especially during peak hours. The street noise impacted the overall comfort.

The concierge service provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, offering maps and directions, while the front desk staff efficiently handled all requests, demonstrating excellent customer service throughout my stay! The team really cares about guests.

The hotel's fitness center offered a variety of modern equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, and free weights. The business center was equipped with computers, printers, and comfortable seating, allowing guests to easily manage their work needs. This really helps.

quiet room clean room amazing location broken heating slow response uncomfortable arrangement
my room was very quiet and very clean. i slept very well as a result. the location gave me lots of options for things to do on foot too so i didn't need to plan transport. wellington cafe is on the corner of the hotel's road.. i had a fab scone and coffee there.
i was put in a room where it was known the heating wasn't working. the maintenance man looked surprised to see me. he arrived an hour or so after i checked in and said he would speak to reception to get me moved. it took over an hour to arrange that, including me calling them..
