Really good city center stay

original featuresfriendly staffconvenient locationdamp towel
The hotel boasts original features and a fine building. I found the staff very friendly and also knowledgeable. Breakfast was great and held in the grand council room. I appreciated how easy it was to access all the main city center destinations.
The absence of a central light in the room made it consistently dark. The towel radiator in the bathroom was not activated, leaving towels damp. These minor issues impacted the overall comfort.
Rooms

The room featured a large television, a fantastic bathroom, and an amazing shower. I found great extras including complementary drinks in the fridge. The bed was comfy and large.

I appreciated the fresh breakfast with good quality options. The breakfast room has lovely domed windows. I liked the large shower with quality products. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.
I noticed significant sound insulation issues within the building. I was woken early by noise from the room above. Walking sounds and doors slamming were clearly audible. This impacted sleep quality.
