“Imperial Hotel Tokyo stands as a landmark, its history intertwined with that of modern Japan. For some, the experience might not fully justify the expense, especially when weighed against potential noise issues or ongoing renovations. Yet, the hotel's enduring elegance and exceptional service, particularly its prime location near the Imperial Palace and Ginza, create a compelling base for exploring Tokyo.”

outdated room unavailable concierge service
the hotel had a great location, central to everything i wanted to see.
the room i booked, a superior double, didn't match the photos online. it felt old and outdated. navigating the hotel was confusing, and i couldn't get assistance with my luggage because the concierge service wasn't available all day. the hotel also enforced a dress code for dinner, though no one told me about it beforehand.

refined stay

convenient location spacious room quality amenities one-touch bathtub
The location was convenient, placing me within walking distance of the hibiya subway station. i found the room spacious enough for my needs. the bathroom amenities were excellent and of high quality. i appreciated the one-touch bathtub that filled to a set temperature. It was a nice feature.
the breakfast buffet sometimes had a short wait time of up to fifteen minutes.
Dining

I dined at the viking sal buffet. The chocolate danishes and blueberry danishes were notable. the restaurants had a good selection, but the value for the money could have been improved. I preferred eating at nearby establishments.

Adequate stay in a well-located hotel

detailed information comfortable breakfast unwelcoming feel extra charge
The concierge provided detailed information for gift shopping. The staff escorted me to my room with my luggage. I found this charmed. The location was very convenient to Ginza. Breakfast in the room was comfortable.
The hotel did not have a cute feel. It seemed very professional. When I asked for a fork to eat the dessert, I was told it didn't come with it, and I had to pay for it. I found this absurd. -.
