“Headingley Lodge struck me as a practical choice, especially for cricket enthusiasts, given its stadium views. The on-site golf course is a welcome surprise, though I noted some rooms could use an update. Its location near Headingley High Street and Leeds University balances convenience with a touch of local charm; I think the meeting rooms also make it a solid option for business travelers.”

Average Stay with Some Issues

unique viewurine smelllow quality
The room had a UNIQUE view overlooking the pitch.
The bathroom smelled strongly of urine when I arrived, and that was VERY unpleasant. The hotel felt worn down overall, like an office block converted into a low-quality hotel. This is not what I expect from a self-proclaimed 4-star hotel.

decent location, some issues

noisy fansingle beds
The bathroom fan ran all night. It just wouldn't switch off. the bed turned out to be two singles pushed together, which wasn't very comfortable. honestly, i didn't sleep well. it wasn't the relaxing experience i had hoped for, a shame.

spacious roomfantastic viewsecure parkingsingle bedtiny pillowshower pressure
The room was spacious with a view over the wicket. There was a real WOW when I opened the door. Secure parking was AVAILABLE.
The bed was two singles pushed together, SO it was uncomfortable in the middle. The pillows were tiny compared to the size of the bed. The shower had much less pressure than I liked.
