really good stay in a traditional ryokan

i was impressed with the hotel's location, only minutes from the train station. the japanese room included a private onsen with a beautiful view of the trees and river. i enjoyed bathing in complete privacy. the room design felt traditional but with a modern touch. it was very clean.
i felt the communication regarding the dinner options could have been clearer. i had to pre-book the dinner and i missed it.

the staff accommodated dietary restrictions very efficiently. they also spoke english fluently, so communication was easy. coffee was available at any time in the hall, quite convenient for a quick refreshment.

The hotel's location is fantastic. I was only a two-minute walk from the main train station!!! waking up to the river view was just magical. the team was nice and very accommodating.
my room was a bit small for four people.

The location was convenient. It was a short walk from the train station.
I found the air conditioning to be quite noisy. It made sleeping difficult. A bad smell lingered in the room. It was distracting and unpleasant.

the location is convenient, a short walk from the train station making it easy to access the hotel. my room overlooked the river, a calming view i appreciated (it really added to the relaxing atmosphere). i especially enjoyed the onsen experience, particularly the open-air bath.
i did notice a slight musty odor upon entering the lobby.
