It reminded me of a step back in time. being so close to gare du nord and gare de l'est made travel easy. the proximity allowed for spontaneous explorations throughout the city.
i found that i needed to leave my key at the front desk each time i stepped out.. it felt a bit inconvenient at times.

My stay presented a few issues. The room was not properly heated, it. the noise from the street below was constant, disturbing my sleep. I could clearly hear conversations and traffic throughout the night. This was not ideal.
