helpful staff reasonable price convenient location luggage storage fee uncomfortable pillow basic amenities
the location suited my travel needs. it was close to the gare de l'est. the staff at reception were very helpful. i also found the price reasonable.
the hotel charges extra for luggage storage. i had to pay to store my bag before check in. the pillows were also uncomfortable. soap and shampoo were not provided.

good surprise easy travel spontaneous explorations
The elevator was a good surprise. It seemed like a step back in time. being so close to gare du nord and gare de l'est made travel easy. the proximity allowed for spontaneous explorations throughout the city.
i found that i needed to leave my key at the front desk each time i stepped out.. it felt a bit inconvenient at times.

inadequate heating constant street noise
My stay presented a few issues. The room was not properly heated, it. the noise from the street below was constant, disturbing my sleep. I could clearly hear conversations and traffic throughout the night. This was not ideal.
