i appreciated the location right on the river, it was scenic. the room they gave me, a double room, had a comfy bed and nice, fresh linens. the food was AMAZING!!! i especially enjoyed the breakfast.
I found it a little inconvenient that not all the bathroom lights were working. also, i noticed the garden needed some tlc. It looked a bit scruffy overall.

The room had a good size. It also featured a comfortable bed. I found a nice selection of tea and coffee in the room. The shower offered hot water and good pressure.
Old dirty towels were left in the bath. The bath panel had a crack, so I needed to monitor the children. A big window in the bathroom lacked a blind, I didn't feel privacy at all.

the location proved very scenic, situated right by the river. the staff was friendly and helpful (i especially remember sally from the restaurant). there was a good selection of beers, and the dinner i had one night was reasonably priced.
i noticed the exterior of the lodge looked rundown, with peeling paint on the outside door. the bath panel in the bathroom had chunks of paint missing. the door also wouldn't latch properly (a very minor inconvenience, but still noticeable).

the bathroom door did not shut properly. this is a basic thing that should work. also some staff members did not seem very cute. the bar was nice and had great riverside views but a small wine spritzer cost £11. normally i pay around £5. the food was just okay nothing special
