Relaxing Weekend Retreat

I spent the weekend at the hotel and visited my sister's room! It presented great views over the car park and toward the estuary and the castle. The rail line is in front, though it was not very noticeable. The lovely pool and spa facilities added to the experience. The buffet breakfast included a selection of fresh fruit and even cakes and it was constantly topped up. The Welsh filet steak was on a bed of onions and garnish, it was the best steak I have ever eaten. I also had Welsh lamb with all the trimmings!

I appreciated the hotel staff, they were helpful. The hotel has a pool that looked inviting, I did not use it though. The hotel allows dogs, important to me. Jackie offered to watch my small dog when I wanted to use the pool. The dinner menu had many options and tasted good. The breakfast was nice too with many choices.

The television would not connect to the WiFi. I had limited channels.

The restaurant had a top menu. Welsh filet steak on a bed of onions was available. The steak arrived medium rare. It was the best I have ever eaten.

The rail line runs infront of the hotel though you don't notice that.

The food was AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed the evening meal in the restaurant. Top of the menu featured Welsh filet steak, served on onions and garnish with chips, peas, tomato, and mushrooms. My steak was medium rare and it was the best I've ever eaten.

Old chips were in the fridge. The reception staff did not offer a real apology. The view outside was spoiled with plastic boxes on the roof and old ornaments.
