"The room was nice (although the edging was coming off the desk in the room, I could see) and the soundproofing to the outside (and to the bar area below) was good too, given that it was a Saturday night, I was only on the first floor (and in the room nearest to the stairway leading down to the bar / restaurant area) and given that my room was also looking out over the street (and almost over the front entrance to the establishment itself).so I was probably in the room most susceptible to sound / noise."
