The hotel was very close to the castle. I could walk there easily. The hotel had parking at the rear, very convenient. This WAS a nice bonus. I also enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant.
The room did not have a bedside lamp. The tea and coffee in the room seemed A bit old fashioned. Overall it was a bit disappointing.

the staff were friendly. the location is great near the castle. it made wandering around town interesting. breakfast was delicious. the parking was good though tricky at first. i enjoyed my stay.
the town bell chimes loudly every hour till 11 pm and starts again at 5. this made getting an early night difficult.

i found the service prompt, especially during dinner and breakfast. staff ensured little waiting time for food after ordering. their pleasant and friendly attitude. the food was AMAZING!!!

the breakfast was good and provided a decent start to the day
the room lacked a bedside lamp this made reading difficult the bed itself was quite firm and did not provide adequate support i found the tea and coffee selection in the room to be rather basic and could benefit from an upgrade

The staff provided an really good welcome upon arrival and throughout my stay. The rooms offered ample space, a feature I always appreciate. The restaurant provided a sublime experience for the evening meal, I found the food very good.
I noticed the breakfast hours were a bit too early and too short for my liking.

The breakfast was excellent. I thought it was a solid ten out of ten. The Specials menu seemed broad and interesting with a variety of choices. I found the dining room conveyed a feeling of history.

Ed was very helpful during check-in, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly. A young man serving breakfast on his first day was graceful, charming, and competent. I think the staff is good.

The location was close to the castle. The hotel offered easy access to various attractions. I could easily take a self-drive trip to the Skomer Island ferry to see the Puffins from this spot.

Parking was directly at the rear of the hotel. I didn't need to use a public car park. I also noted the presence of Adrian and Tony. Their conviviality contributed to a relaxed feeling.
