lovely coastal stay!

My room was large and comfortable. the ensuite bathroom even had a lovely roll-top bath. i noticed the furnishings were traditional, and there was no mdf (a pleasant surprise!). the location worked well for exploring the south coast. I got around easily on my bike.
the advertising showed a restaurant, but it was not there.

check-in was easy, with clear instructions, and the staff i encountered were friendly and professional. communication was nice, as they offered clear guidance for arrival and were quick to assist with any needs. (very appreciated!)

the room had super tidy furniture and the bed included comfy bedding with nice towels. i appreciated having sky tv available, and the heating in the room was perfect, as was the water temperature.

i was initially concerned when i found the reception door locked upon arrival, but i was warmly greeted at the bistro. i enjoyed a glass of wine in the pleasant bar before settling into my room, clean and comfy.
the tv in my room required a wifi connection to function, but i wasn't able to get it working. also, the electric shower provided only a trickle of water rather than a consistent spray.

Breakfast options were spot on, and set me up for the day. the onsite restaurant features an excellent menu. The meal i had was AMAZING!!! tea and coffee are available in the lounge, along with a mini-bar, which operates on an honesty basis.

Basic Stay with Some Issues
non-functional tvmusty smell
I encountered some problems . The TV in the room did not work at all. I mentioned this to the staff, but it was not fixed (a bit disappointing). the room felt quite cold even with the heating on. Limited hot water was available, and there was a musty smell in the room, like it had not been aired out properly.
