Edgbaston House is often praised for its lovely art deco style and exceptional rooms, some featuring glorious bathrooms with roll-top baths and separate walk-in showers. Many guests find the beds super comfy, often noting the high quality memory foam mattresses and dense duck feather pillows. Wonderful stay in Edgbaston

large bathroom beautiful room short walk
The large bathroom stood out to me. A hot soak in the big bath after a day of travel was just the ticket. I found the room beautiful. It was also a short walk to Edgbaston village. (very convenient!).
During check-in, it wasn't immediately clear where to go upon arriving at the car park, front or back door. A specific sign would greatly benefit new guests.
Location
9/10
The location is quite convenient. A short walk will take you into Edgbaston village with all of its shops and local restaurants, a great way to explore the local area. This made it really accessible.
Dining
8/10
Many great restaurants are nearby. I ordered dinner on Deliveroo and was really pleased with the variety of available options (the Italian place was especially good). There are many local pubs within walking distance as well.
Rooms
9/10
The room included adjustable air-conditioning. There was also a large screen tv with plenty of lighting options that worked for me.
Facilities
10/10
Free gated parking is available behind the hotel. This is a short walk from the rooms. The hotel has beautiful architectural designs and the decor has an art deco theme.

Great Decor and Convenient Parking

art deco free parking spacious room
I loved the art deco features. They were good and unique. The gated parking was free, fantastic. My room was spacious.
The room was next to the front door. The noise from foot traffic in and out of the building was pretty loud. Single glazing did not help to reduce this noise.
Location
9/10
The hotel is next to a very good restaurant, a great convenience. Cake and Culture is also nearby, with a nice bonus for a quick treat. The location made it easy to explore the village area.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel has great decor and offers several amenities. The free, gated parking provides security. The free parking is always a bonus.
Rooms
9/10
The room was a nice size and included a gorgeous bathroom. Rooms are great. They're very comfortable. The bath was a lovely touch. I would book again soon.
