The Roseate Edinburgh offers a cozy and elegant experience, with beautifully decorated rooms and comfortable beds, a short walk or bus ride from Edinburgh's city center and Haymarket tram stop. The hotel provides a freshly cooked breakfast, including kippers, and exceptional dining in its restaurant. While some guests have found the location on a busy road to be a bit noisy, especially in rooms across from the main building, the hotel is also conveniently located for airport access via a direct bus line right outside the hotel, and some rooms boast spacious layouts.

The rooms possesses a very cozy vibe. it was well decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The ambiance feels very perfect to me. the red sandstone hotel is very attractive, with beautiful high ceilings and a very elegant staircase.
i stopped in what was called a superior room, however, this room was across the busy street. the room seemed SO SMALL and didn't even have a cupboard to hang up clothes, only a set of coat hangers. i also had to cross the road for breakfast and dinner. the breakfast was in a room that was also the bar and people were having meetings.

The staff were friendly. They helped us get our luggage to our rooms. The food tasted good. The service was great overall.
Walls were very thin. I could hear a lot of noise through the night. People were just going about their thing. The extra charge for car parking seemed unnecessary.
