i stayed for three nights, and our room was not serviced at all. apparently, i was supposed to put a sign on the door requesting service, but there wasn't one available. so, i guess my trash can was supposed to magically empty itself?

I was genuinely charmed by this hotel. The room was clean. I especially appreciated the attention to detail. The value for money really surprised me. The staff was friendly. I felt very welcome during my entire visit!

The hot water took a little while to come through in the mornings, nothing too dramatic.

The location was quite peaceful. It was nice to be away from the main road. I enjoyed the lovely grounds. Walking around them was really special. A short walk led to a little shop nearby.

The location was fine for the wedding I attended.

The receptionist discouraged me from eating at the hotel. She said the restaurant was fully booked, but online it showed availability. It reminded me of they just did not want to serve me. Breakfast was also a letdown. Items ran out early, and staff were nowhere to be found to help.

i adored the room, especially how clean it was each day. nicola at reception welcomed me with a lovely smile, she was amazing. she even drove us to a wedding when taxis were unavailable, which i cannot thank her enough for. it was a great kindness and i felt a true connection.

during my stay, i found that some aspects were not fully functional, such as the door lock to my room. i hope they fix it, because it. this affected how i lived that romantic moment with my wife.
