lovely getaway

the room was quite spacious i loved the large picture window overlooking the loch. the staff were very friendly and helpful it was never too much trouble for them. scenic walks along the side of the loch into the village were lovely too.

the information i received at the front desk was limited i had to return several times to get what i needed. also, my room became too warm for me .

the family room offered twin beds pushed together and a large, well appointed bathroom. A coffee machine alongside a nice selection of drinks and biscuits was a treat i really enjoyed.

the food presentation was lovely and the pricing worked for families. sofia, a waitress and james from the activities crew really stood out i enjoyed talking to them. james presented archery well and engaged youngsters

there was so much to do both within and outside the hotel i found that amazing. the swimming pool and scheduled activities proved great for family entertainment and relaxation i could not fault it.

the food menu seemed acceptable to me.

communication was odd i requested extra pillows and towels but never received them also the pool's changing rooms smelled damp and the pool lacked seating it was quite strange. additionally i found the bars poorly stocked i asked for tonic but received soda instead not great.

The room was spacious with quality fittings.

The room became excessively hot. The free-standing air conditioning unit included filters, however, I found a large amount of dust present. I managed to clean some of this dust, but this cleaning is certainly the responsibility of the hotel, not the guest!!!

I found the staff amazing. They were friendly and helpful! I really liked that the hotel had a restaurant for breakfast. (The coffee was superb!)

The bed wasn't very comfortable. The pillows were very hard. I found the swimming pool had very limited opening hours.

The hotel location IS beautiful. Staff members were cute. My room had a kettle. The bar offered panoramic loch views.

I had to pay extra for some services. Towel hire for the swimming pool cost £3.00 per towel. Using the gym also cost extra at £5.00.

The room was super clean and cozy. Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced (especially the pancakes!).

The room was very hot when I arrived. The provided portable air conditioner was too loud for comfortable use at night. Opening the window did little to alleviate the heat. I also didn't find any towels in the room. I had to ask for some at the reception.
