Comfortable Stay Near ExCeL
good location convenient transportation
I found the room to be a good size. The location was great (close to where I needed to be). I also liked that the hotel was near the dock, made transportation convenient. Breakfast was nice too.
I had an issue with the shower. The water temperature was hard to adjust and it would alternate between hot and cold.

Breakfast service has many options, and it's buffet style. There are a variety of dishes to select from (the honey was very fresh). The breakfast area is kept tidy by staff.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The guest services manager extended a warm welcome upon arrival. One staff member even helped with a quick taxi ride during a medical emergency (i really appreciated their help).

The hotel offers easy access to the DLR and underground. It is a good location for events at the ExCeL Centre. The location is very convenient to move around the city.

The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable (a good size too). The room had everything I needed for my stay. The rooms are modern with space.

The staff provided complimentary allergen-free cookies upon our arrival (a really lovely touch). i also appreciated the free weights available in the gym. My kids used them daily.

unclean bedding partial refund
the staff was NICE and helpful .
I FOUND several hairs on the blanket AND underneath it. This made me believe it was NOT changed after the last guest. I REQUESTED a partial refund, BUT the manager only offered 10% initially. she EVENTUALLY offered 20% After I pressed her, BUT her resistance to A reasonable solution was frustrating.
