a tranquil escape

the staff greeted us with such warmth it was touching. we were also granted an early check in a sweet gift as we prepared for our friends' wedding. a firestick connected easily to the hdmi port in the cabinet which was a lovely touch to enjoy quiet moments.

the air conditioner was a bit temperamental switching between cool and warm air. the dust buildup also meant i spent a lot of time cleaning surfaces.

the hotel seemed a bit tired. i stayed two nights and found the carpets in both rooms stained and dirty. there was also damage to the window in one room.. marks marred the walls.

I appreciated the beautiful grounds. They were perfect for taking pleasant walks. The bus stop to the shopping area was right across the road. This made getting around easy.

The shower had hair in it. The shower mat looked really old. I felt it was disgusting. I could hear other guests in their rooms because the walls were thin.
