solid stay with functional amenities

convenient locationfrequent servicelocal musiciansprivacy absence
the location was convenient. i found a bus stop close by with frequent service. the meet the winemaker event on thursday evening had local musicians. they played near the fireplace in the courtyard (the atmosphere was vibrant).
i noticed the room lacked privacy. without a lakeview suite, the room opened directly onto the main carpark. keeping the curtains closed resulted in a dark space.
Location

the hotel is near a bus stop with three different bus routes passing by. this provides easy access to different areas without needing a car. (a definite plus for me!).

the onsite restaurant provided an excellent dining experience. i appreciated the recycling and reusing measures implemented throughout the hotel. this reflected a commitment to eco-friendliness, i found admirable.

i enjoyed the restaurant a lot! the food tasted so fresh because they use produce from their garden. the waiting staff was very attentive (i really felt taken care of). the location promotes sustainability.
parking was difficult when i arrived late, so i had to park far away. the shower drains seemed blocked, as the water filled up quickly. the lighting in the room was not good.

The staff was helpful with directions to local attractions. the room had tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits (a nice touch!). free parking was available. This was very convenient as i had a rental car.
the walls seemed quite thin, and i could hear conversations from the adjacent room sometimes.
