mixed feelings about this stay

pubic hairs inconvenient times
the onsite restaurant had a good vibe (especially at night).
On arrival, i noticed some hairs on the big cushion behind the pillows. They looked like pubic hairs. the lady washed the coffee cups without soap. i found out that the rooms were being made up at inconvenient times.

i appreciated the tour company pick-up location near the road. it was a short walk from my room. the on-site restaurant accommodated my early breakfast request around 6:50 am. the overall complex had a calm and tidy atmosphere.

mixed feelings about this stay

water temperature unstocked kitchen
the shower was a real issue. it was difficult to regulate the water temperature (i nearly scalded myself!). the water pressure was also very low. the kitchen wasn't properly stocked, made preparing meals awkward.

solid stay with functional amenities

convenient location frequent service local musicians
the location was convenient. i found a bus stop close by with frequent service. the meet the winemaker event on thursday evening had local musicians. they played near the fireplace in the courtyard (the atmosphere was vibrant).
i noticed the room lacked privacy. without a lakeview suite, the room opened directly onto the main carpark. keeping the curtains closed resulted in a dark space.
Location
9/10
the hotel is near a bus stop with three different bus routes passing by. this provides easy access to different areas without needing a car. (a definite plus for me!).
Facilities
8/10
the onsite restaurant provided an excellent dining experience. i appreciated the recycling and reusing measures implemented throughout the hotel. this reflected a commitment to eco-friendliness, i found admirable.

fresh garden produce attentive waiting staff location sustainability difficult parking blocked shower terrible lighting
i enjoyed the restaurant a lot! the food tasted so fresh because they use produce from their garden. the waiting staff was very attentive (i really felt taken care of). the location promotes sustainability.
parking was difficult when i arrived late, so i had to park far away. the shower drains seemed blocked, as the water filled up quickly. the lighting in the room was not good.

The staff was helpful with directions to local attractions. the room had tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits (a nice touch!). free parking was available. This was very convenient as i had a rental car.
the walls seemed quite thin, and i could hear conversations from the adjacent room sometimes.
