fantastic stay

beautiful groundscomfortable bedsrelaxed atmospheremusty smell

the house and grounds look beautiful and are well maintained i found the architecture inside very nice the staff welcomed me warmly and were quite helpful bar staff helped me with my requests rooms have comfortable beds and everything expected was provided i found a relaxed atmosphere to sit in the library after checkout

i noticed the build quality in the north wing seemed poor i could hear footsteps and voices from other rooms the room smelled a bit musty upon arrival i informed reception about the extractor fan not working in the bathroom

the room felt smaller than expected for a superior double room. i could hear every footstep and conversation from the room above, also from people walking past my door. the extractor fan in the bathroom did not seem to be working properly. the room also had a slight musty smell upon arrival.
