Double Rooms Chalet Style, at 25 m², include a desk, chair, and balcony, equipped with a walk-in shower and modern shower-toilet. Single Rooms Chalet Style offer 13 m² with a 1.20 m bed, a desk, a walk-in shower, and a modern shower-toilet. Superior Comfort Rooms measure 38 m² and accommodate up to three adults, separated bedroom and living area with sofa bed and a floor-level shower. The Matterhorn Suite is 45 m² with a bedroom separated from the living room by a sliding door, a seating area with sofa bed, a balcony, and two bathrooms. The Family Suite includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a balcony, at 60 m².
Dining
Hotel Daniela offers breakfast but does not offer dinner at the hotel. Guests can visit either of the two restaurants of the Tradition Julen in Zermatt: Restaurant Julen, located in the Romantik Hotel Julen, and Restaurant Alpenhof Zermatt, known for its international cuisine. A complimentary minibar with soft drinks and a Nespresso coffee machine are available. À la carte options include local specialties such as lamb dishes.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests of Hotel Daniela have complimentary access to the Julen SPA at Romantik Hotel Julen or the Alpenhof SPA at Hotel Alpenhof. The Julen SPA features a large swimming pool, steam baths, a solarium, a sauna, and a fitness room. The Alpenhof SPA includes an outdoor whirlpool, a block-house sauna, steam baths, a relaxation room, and an indoor swimming pool. Hotel Daniela features a Jacuzzi with fiery views, an alpine mist steam bath, and an Edelweiss sauna.
Location & Access
Hotel Daniela is located in Zermatt, a 10-minute walk from the cable cars and 1 km from Zermatt and 80 km from Sion. Winter hiking trails and ski slopes surround the area. Guests can reach peaks via the Glacier Ride or the Gornergrat Railway. The hotel is in Zermatt's car-free zone, connected to the European rail network. Black-nosed sheep graze at the foot of the Matterhorn on the Gornergrat from July to September.
Hotel Services
Guests are picked up from the train station or taxi stand in Zermatt by e-taxi until 8 pm on arrival day and driven back to the train station or taxi stand on departure day. Visp is the sole place of jurisdiction in the event of any disputes arising from such contracts. A transfer service to and from the train station is available to all guests. Guests of the Daniela hotel are welcome to use the wellness centre and the pool complex at the Julen hotel, which is only 100 metres away.
