Very nice Stay with Fine Views!

fine viewsspacious balconyexcellent seafoodhelpful waiter
The hotel's location offered the most fine views. The large room featured a spacious balcony. I loved watching the canal activities. The artwork throughout the hotel, created by the owner, was lovely (I even bought a print!). The seafood was delicious. Breakfast was really good. Our table gave us great views of Jura and the mountains of Mull. The waiter, Robert, was friendly and helpful. He is a great asset. The food has drastically improved. I ordered the halibut, cooked to perfection. My partner had the scallops, also perfect. The waiter told us about a new chef. I can't wait to return for more cooking. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. They served excellent food. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. It was a perfect escape, and I would love to return.
I noticed that there weren't any USB plugs in the room.

i enjoyed the location. it offered a peaceful setting (away from the city noises). the room was spacious. it also provided really good views of the sea and mountains. breakfast had many options.
the staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. i was not informed about having drinks in the residents lounge. instead, i spent an evening in the cold, dark bar (a bit of a shame). the interior and rooms seemed tired.

The staff was very attentive! They sang happy birthday when I entered the dining room. The room was very clean! It was comfortable and the evening meal was lovely.
The roads to the hotel got more narrow. Winding roads looked closer to the hotel. The hotel needs upgrading and refurbishment. Windows are single glazed. They rattle when it's windy.
