lackluster stay with noticeable issues
musty smell uncomfortable bed
the location proved acceptable because it was near to transport links.
my room smelled musty, i suspect from old carpets and improper ventilation. the bed was not comfortable, i found the mattress too firm, i tossed and turned a lot during my 3 nights.

dated furniture thin walls
I was initially impressed by this hotel's location near kensington gardens. however, i soon found myself dealing with some serious issues. the room felt dated and tired. The furniture looked like it had seen much better days. also, the walls were paper thin, so i could hear everything happening around me. sleep was difficult.

fantastic stay near kensington high street!
friendly staff clean bathroom great location room upgrade
The reception staff was super friendly and helpful from the start! (i mean it!). the hotel is well maintained, very clean, and in a perfect spot near shops and transport. i especially appreciated the super clean bathroom. No marks or dirt anywhere. the staff was great, and i enjoyed the welcome fruits and complimentary room upgrade.
the sound from the hallway was quite audible in my room.

the reception team was quick during check-in and check-out, very helpful in answering questions, and always had a smile (which makes a huge difference!). karthik at the bar made excellent drink suggestions for my group.

The breakfast had a good range of options, and the staff kept everything well-stocked. i had a lovely experience at the bar with friends. The service was great, especially with the creative drink suggestions.
