superb hotel stay

friendly doorman free ice creams informative tours

the doorman was very friendly. free ice creams and sweets were available during the day in the reception area. savoury snacks looked at night. walking tours of the city were informative and led by well trained staff.. the hotel's location is ideal for exploring since many sites are within walking distance.

the minibar offered only soft drinks and beer. i would have liked much more choice in that area. i was happy to pay for it.

service delays overwhelmed front desk

the location was excellent, close to many restaurants and shops.

The service i experienced did not quite meet my expectations considering the cost of my stay. Sometimes the front desk seemed overwhelmed, and there were delays at breakfast (it honestly took more than one hour).

The breakfast was overwhelming. I felt pressured to eat a lot, it was honestly too much food for one person. i found the restaurant sometimes felt chaotic, and the service felt slow because of it. also, my room was near the elevators, i could hear them often! i did not sleep as well as i hoped, this was a real shame.

the hotel offered two daily city tours and the guide was knowledgeable. the hotel provided a complimentary twenty-minute massage. i appreciated the twenty-four-hour ice cream machine and happy hour with snacks.

the complimentary evening cocktails were not premium.
