The Colonsay House rhododendron and woodland garden is open Tuesdays and Thursdays and the café serves lunches and afternoon teas. There are small rowing boats available for fly fishing on the lochs and can be hired through the Colonsay Holidays Offices.
Location and Access
The Colonsay Hotel is 5 km from Colonsay and is near the Oronsay Priory (2.5 km) and Lower Kilchattan Standing Stones (2.5 km). Colonsay is served by a Caledonian MacBrayne car ferry service from the port of Oban. The journey takes two and a quarter hours passing between the mainland and the islands of Kererra and Mull and then sailing south west past the islands of Seil, Luing, Scarba and Jura.
