the staff was friendly and helpful, especially with the train schedule.
we were expecting power outages in this area. when we got there, we were told that there is a possibility that power will be down, no lights or water. about an hour after we arrived, unfortunately there was a power outage. this meant we didn't have any light and no toilet or shower. i was expecting at least a partial refund due to this experience, but we were offered nothing.

location was central to the viaduct. The staff takes GREAT care when serving customers. i appreciate THE way the food is served.
the road INTO glenfinnan was often busy. SOME road noise bothered me early in the morning. my room was modest AND overlooked the main road.

the location was convenient for seeing the viaduct. i found convenient parking available across the street (i could easily keep an eye on my car). the hostesses were friendly and served amazing breakfast options.
my room was rather small. the bed felt springy and soft. the main road outside caused some noise early in the morning (i'm a light sleeper).
