The location was wonderful. The staff was friendly. the owner and chef showed me individual attention since the hotel was not crowded. the food tasted delicious.
I am not sure the bathroom had been cleaned. There were stray hairs in the shower and a random towel. there was a drunk local at the bar. He kept trying to talk to me. no one stepped in to remove the man from my table.

the room had a comfortable bed and i found the space cosy. the view from the room was also a highlight.
the dinner menu was not as expected from the photos. it was disappointing and i had higher hopes for variety , the bar and restaurant seemed understaffed , resulting in slow service and a lack of attention to detail.

we arrived and found a well-renovated space. our room had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. the bar service was good. breakfast was excellent, a good way to start the day.
the dinner menu did not quite align with the expectations set by the online photos. it was disappointing, particularly compared to the promise we saw beforehand.

this hotel benefits from good road connections to the peninsula. it also allows easy access to mull. mallaig and fort william are within reach. nearby scenery offers great views.

The breakfast was a good choice and there was plenty of it.
The room curtain rail fell off the wall. I remembered it had fallen off the year before too. The shower over the bath was ok, but the water did not drain even overnight. The bath remained half full.
