The staff were helpful when answering questions. The room was clean. the location has nearby shops, only a short walk away. there is a bar on site, easy to get to without leaving the building. the bar staff were friendly. The environment was trendy.
the bed was a bit small, and the pillows were lumpy. the floor was very creaky, and the toilet was slow to refill, a bit annoying

the mattress felt old and unsupportive i could feel every spring. pillows seemed past their prime flat and lumpy. clearly SOME investment in new bedding is needed.

The family room had ample space. I found both the room and bathroom to be very clean. Staff gave us directions to a very nice safe pub next door, since there was no breakfast available. The pub being close was really convenient.
The carpet had some sags. I saw that it is a potential tripping hazard.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when answering questions. The room had lots of space and was nice (I thought it was great). The location was good. It was a short walk to the local shop and a short drive from the local retail parks.
The tap in the bathroom says "hot water", but it should say this water WILL burn you as it comes out hotter than the kettle. I found this dangerous.

The staff helped me find a suitable parking spot for my motorcycle. I was grateful they let me park it in a renovated section of the hotel. It saved me from leaving it outside. The price was good.
The heating system seemed a bit difficult to control.
