Wonderful stay at this gem
non-dairy milk local ingredient comfortable bed
The staff readily provided non-dairy milk for the room. I found that so thoughtful. The breakfast included locally sourced ingredients, a nice touch. i appreciated the large, comfortable bed in my room after a long day (it was so relaxing!).
The stairs to my allocated room were quite narrow, a little challenging with my luggage.

The hotel welcomed my dog warmly. the staff provided water bowls and treats. the location was great for dog walks. breakfast in the lounge bar was convenient. My dog could join me.
The room in the cottage showed signs of water damage. The bathroom had mold.

unreliable wifi sloping roof
i was a bit disappointed with my stay. the advertised wifi was not accessible from my room, a real inconvenience as i needed it for work. also, the sloping roof in the bathroom made it difficult to stand upright in the shower, a design flaw i found quite frustrating.
