a decent stay, some drawbacks
convenient location acceptable selection firm bed faulty air conditioning
the location was quite good, i must say. it was easy to reach various points of interest. the breakfast was more than enough too, a very acceptable selection was available without upgrading to a la carte. it had pretty much all i needed to start my days.
the bed was not good, sadly. it felt very firm, and i woke up with some aches. the air conditioning kept switching off during the night, i was waking up feeling sweaty every few hours. it was not comfortable at all.

tender moments at a refined escape
super clean rooms coffee selection rituals handwash soft bathrobe
the hotel rooms were super clean, a detail i deeply appreciated. i found tea, coffee, and biscuits waiting in my room upon arrival. rituals handwash, shower gel, and shampoo were provided in the bathroom. room slippers and bathrobes were also available for extra comfort.
the lobby felt a bit small, particularly the reception and bar areas.
Location
9/10
the hotel enjoys proximity to barbican, bank, moorgate, and liverpool street stations. public transportation access is straightforward. the surrounding area seemed safe, situated as it is within the office district.
Service
10/10
the staff displayed helpfulness. staff members were friendly and knew how to assist guests from different countries.
Rooms

my room was a beautiful king room, larger than standard accommodations i've found before. the bathroom included both a shower and bathtub. it offered ample space and felt particularly well-appointed.

the room felt cold i found no food available after 9:45 even room service i was told to order from just eats when paying a significant sum for a room this is unacceptable. if a guest is female one might be ignored in the bar area from service staff. i sat for a considerable time with an empty glass while the gents in the area were asked repeatedly if they needed a drink.
