“The hotel occupies a beautifully refurbished building from the 14th century, a UNESCO heritage site; it is right on the Old Market Place near the superb Tyn Cathedral. The staff seems friendly, and the spacious rooms offer a real feel of Prague, but the dated restaurant could use some modernizing. For me, it remains a favorite, with reasonably priced charm in a prime location.”

Charming Stay in the Heart of the City
excellent location spacious room nice breakfast helpful staff
The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the area. I found the room spacious and well kept (I stayed for 3 nights). Breakfast offered a nice selection of items to start the day well. The staff was helpful with directions and local recommendations.
The elevator only goes to the second floor. Guests must use the stairs for higher floors.
Service
9/10
The staff provided useful advice on local transport and attractions. They also offered assistance with luggage storage before my flight. The breakfast service was prompt, and the dining area was kept clean (a detail I always notice).
Location
10/10
The hotel is very near the Astronomic clock, an amazing experience. Despite being in the center, my room faced a smaller street. This positioning ensured I had a peaceful night's sleep (a big plus for me).
Rooms
9/10
My room included a comfortable bed and good, free WiFi. The room's layout was practical, providing enough space for luggage. I appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room's setup (always makes a difference).
Facilities
8/10
The hotel offers breakfast. The breakfast includes various options to suit different tastes (especially if you are like me and you like a hearty breakfast). The hotel is located in a historic building, retaining some original features.

The location was indeed central. It made getting around relatively straightforward.
The room lacked air conditioning, a problem (a pretty big one, if you ask me). A small fan did little to alleviate the heat. I found it hard to sleep well, especially with the noise from the streets outside when I opened the windows.

Central Gem!
central location friendly staff cute atmosphere
I loved how central the hotel was. Friendly staff remembered me by name (a sweet touch!). The downstairs bar created a cute atmosphere. I often enjoyed an evening drink there.
The absence of air conditioning made the room a bit warm. A small fan did little to alleviate the discomfort during warmer days.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel has a well-stocked bar that operates until late. It features local beers and classic cocktails. There is also a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, providing traditional meals and international dishes choosing to dine in.
Service
10/10
Staff members at the reception provided prompt assistance with directions and recommendations. They offered to arrange transportation to the airport and provided information about local attractions (i felt so cared for!).
