good breakfast central location small room old mattress
The location was very central for St Mark's Square. The room was lovely and the breakfast was good. I particularly enjoyed the good breakfast selection. It had a lot of options.
The room was super small. The pictures online are misleading. The mattress felt old and uncomfortable. I also saw used bottles of shower products, so I am not sure it was cleaned properly.

restaurant noise poor soundproofing
The room felt a bit cramped, not ideal for spreading out after a day exploring. the noise from the nearby restaurant late into the night was REALLY distracting. It made getting a good night's sleep DIFFICULT. I wish they had better soundproofing, or at least warned me about the potential for noise. It seriously impacted my ability to relax and recharge for the next day's adventures.

The staff were friendly. They helped with gluten-free options at breakfast. The room was quiet, surprisingly. It seemed recently renovated, with gorgeous and comfortable features.
The bathroom lacked ventilation. It made using it difficult. The room had a peculiar, old smell. It could be because the city is old and floats on water. There was a sewage odor.
