The location was excellent with easy access to the city center. A large Tesco store is across the street. It's very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room included an iron and board, very helpful.

i stayed in a very clean room. my bed and bedding WERE new and comfortable. THE fridge in my room and air-conditioning were great touches. also, the free parking was convenient.

the toilet was quite narrow in my room. traffic noise was a distraction. the double glazing and blinds did not completely block out the sounds.

i found recent refurbishment work had improved the rooms significantly. the front desk was cute upon my arrival, and my request for a room change was handled smoothly. i was really surprised by the inclusion of a continental breakfast. free parking continues to be a benefit.

the in-room lighting flickered intermittently, i would have preferred stable illumination.
